Our Story

TeleVine Therapy was founded in 2014 by Tara Helwig, a dedicated speech-language pathologist and orofacial myofunctional therapist, with the vision of providing exceptional, compassionate speech therapy services to individuals and families throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Tara's commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care earned her recognition as Ohio's Top Speech-Language Pathologist by Top Doctors Awards for four consecutive years (2017–2020). She was also recognized by Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, receiving international recognition for her contributions to the field of speech-language pathology.

Although Tara passed away in 2022, her passion, vision, and dedication continue to inspire everything we do. Her legacy lives on through the countless individuals and families whose lives she impacted and through the team she built.

Today, TeleVine Therapy is led by Tara’s mother, Susan Helwig, and her brother, Joshua Helwig, who proudly continue Tara’s mission of providing high-quality, personalized speech therapy services. Together, they remain committed to honoring Tara’s vision and upholding the compassion, integrity, and excellence that have been the foundation of TeleVine Therapy since its beginning.
